That PennDOT worker you see sitting in a truck along Interstate 95 in Delaware County could actually be an undercover state trooper looking for speeders and aggressive drivers.In a 90-minute period on Thursday, troopers conducting “Operation Yellow Jacket” issued 28 citations along I-95.“Operation Yellow Jacket” is joint effort between Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT that focuses on major roadways that are experiencing traffic crashes and aggressive driving.Using a PennDOT pickup truck and a radar unit, state police said they cited 26 people for speeding, one person for driving with a suspended license and another for an expired registration.State police are committed to using innovative techniques to identify and prosecute those who violate the motor vehicle code, said Sgt. Robert Reilly, patrol section supervisor for Troop K, Media.
